Prayers for all Occasions, Needs, and Intentions

EUCHARISTIC CHAPLET OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT

Said on the beads of the Blessed Sacrament, consisting of a crucifix, five beads and the Most Blessed Sacrament medal. The chaplet starts and ends on the crucifix. Prayers are recited up the five beads, around the medal and back down the five beads. The five beads honor the five wounds of our Lord and Lady.

The chaplet is said by starting and ending with the following prayers, said three times:

Immaculate Heart of Mary

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Relying on this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fountain of all good, I adore You, I love You and, sincerely repenting of my sins, I offer You my poor heart. Give it back to me humble, patient, pure and in everything conformed to Your wishes. Grant, O good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in dangers, comfort me in afflictions, give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing in all my works and the grace of a holy death.

On the crucifix: "We offer in Praise." Say the Glory Be.

  • The first bead: "We pray for the salvation of Sinners." Say the Hail Mary.

  • The second bead: "We pray for the relief of Holy Souls." Say the Hail Mary.

  • The third bead: "We pray for the protection of Families." Say the Hail Mary.

  • The fourth bead: "We pray for the encouragement of Vocations." Say the Hail Holy Queen.

  • The fifth bead: "We pray for the strengthening of Priests." Say the prayer of St. Michael.

On the medal, for the five wounds of our Lord, say the following prayers five times, In reparation to the Blessed Sacrament,

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, All praise and all thanksgiving Be every moment Thine.

After completing the above prayer five times, recite:

Prayers of the Chaplet:

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace! the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen

Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, most holy Mother of God, that we made be made worthy of the promises of (thy Son, Our Lord, Jesus) Christ. Amen.

Prayer of St. Michael

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who by an act of Goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of Thy Church, make us worthy, we beseech You, to be delivered by his powerful protection from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into the august presence of Thy Divine Majesty. This we beg through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
