This novena consists of reciting five decades of the Rosary each day for 27 days in petition; then immediately five decades each day for 27 days in thanksgiving, whether or not the request has been granted.

Come, Holy Ghost

Come, Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of Thy faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.

Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be created; and Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

O God, Who hast taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that by the gift of the same Spirit we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

The Decade Prayer

Our Lady said to Sr. Lucia of Fatima, "when you pray the Rosary, say after each decade:"

O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of Thy mercy.
