Chaplet of the Holy Spirit

The chaplet of the Holy Spirit albeit quite long is a beautiful devotion to the Holy Spirit. The chaplet is begun by the recitation of the Apostles Creed then the following prayers:

I

Holy Mother, ask the Eternal Father in Jesus’ Name to send the Holy Spirit to me. Beseech your beloved Spouse to come to me and to abide with me always and forever.

II

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your spirit, Lord, and they shall be created. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray,

O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of your faithful; grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
