THE MUSIC OF PRAYERBOOK

The Music of Prayerbook has been one of the most popular features of this religious site. The mix of religious music used over the years is not limited to Catholic hymns only. The reason is very simple, I like religious music irrespective of the "organized religion" that it may be prevalent in. Therefore the files shown below, in .mid format, have either been a part of the Prayerbook site over the years or they are some of my personal favorites not to forget, possibly yours. All are considered "public domain," however, if this not be the case, provide proof of copyright ownership and the file will be removed promptly.

You may have noticed in the Prayerbook format currently in use, music is heard only on the "content" page except this page, not on the page of interest. The reason is simply to allow reading of the material presented without any distractions that the music may have caused.

For the over 50 crowd like me, actually I'm in the 60's, who love Gospel Music.
