The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace! the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

An Act of Faith

O My God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.

An Act of Hope

O My God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

An Act of Love

O My God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

The Confiteor

I confess to almighty God, to blessed Mary, ever virgin, to blessed Michael the archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy apostles Peter and Paul and to all the saints that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech blessed Mary, ever virgin, blessed Michael the archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy apostles Peter and Paul and all the saints to pray to the Lord our God for me. May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

May the almighty and merciful Lord grant us pardon, absolution, and remission of all our sins. Amen.

An Act of Contrition

O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

A Daily Prayer

Into Your hands, O Lord, and the hands of Your Angels, I place and entrust this day my own soul, my relations, my benefactors, my friends and enemies, and all Catholic people; keep us during this day, by the merits and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the Saints, from the vices, evil desires, sins, and temptations of the devil, from sudden and un-provided death, and from the pains of hell. May the light of the Holy Spirit and Your grace shine in my heart. Let me ever obey Your commandments, and let me never be separated from You, Who live and reign with God the Father and the same Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen.

Prayer of Adoration

I adore You, O God. I count myself as nothing before Your divine majesty. You alone are life, truth, beauty and goodness. I glorify You, I praise You, I give You thanks and I love You, helpless and unworthy as I am, in union with Your dear son Jesus Christ, our savior and our brother. I desire to service You, to please You, to obey You and to love You always in union with Mary Immaculate, mother of God and our mother.

Give me Your Holy Spirit to enlighten me, to correct me and to guide me in the way of Your commandments and in all perfection, while I look for the happiness of heaven, where I shall glorify You forever and ever. Amen.

Offering of Self

Receive, O Lord, all my liberty. Take my memory, my understanding and my will. Whatever I have, whatever I possess You have given to me. I restore it all to You. I yield it to be ruled directly by Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace and I am rich enough nor do I ask for more. Amen.

Grace before Meals

Bless us, O Lord, and these Your gifts, which we are about to receive from Your bounty. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Angelus

The angel of the Lord spoke to Mary.

And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

O Jesus

In union with your most precious blood poured out on the cross and offered in every mass, I offer you today my prayers, works, joys, sorrows and sufferings for the praise of Your holy name and all the desires of Your sacred heart; in reparation for sin, for the conversion of sinners, the union of all Christians and our final union with you in heaven. Amen.

A Prayer of Praise

Praise to You, Father for the innocent eyes of children, for sunlight and flowers and snowfalls; for the muscles of men who build houses and hospitals and harbors; for the minds of scholars who unfold the truths of the universe; for the hearts of parents who teach us to love.

We praise You for what we have. We praise You, too, for those things that Your wise love has decided to withhold from us. What we are and have is from You. And our grateful response can only be to share these treasures with all Your children.

Praise to You, too, Father for so many brothers and sisters. Amen.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things  I cannot change 
The courage to change the things I can  
And the wisdom to know the difference

Taking, as God did, this sinful world as it is,
