Prayers for all Occasions, Needs, and Intentions THE LITURGY OF THE HOURS The Church's full cycle of daily Prayer LITURGICAL SEASON - ADVENT The Liturgy of the Hours having moved from strictly private recitation by the monastic and clergy is truly the prayer of all Christians sanctifying the hours of the day especially morning and evening. The Morning and Evening Prayers are restored as the most important “hinges” of each day’s office. The provision of the Liturgy of the Hours by Liturgical Seasons hopefully will, in some small way, help to encourage the use of this beautiful devotion on a daily basis. Advent is provided with a Morning and Evening Prayer and may be prayed from the First Sunday of Advent to Christmas Eve. Elements of the Liturgy of the Hours - ADVENT
