Prayers for all Occasions, Needs, and Intentions THE LITURGY OF THE HOURS The Church's full cycle of daily Prayer LITURGICAL SEASON - PENTECOST The Liturgy of the Hours having moved from strictly private recitation by the monastic and clergy is truly the prayer of all Christians sanctifying the hours of the day especially morning and evening. The Morning and Evening Prayers are restored as the most important “hinges” of each day’s office. The provision of the Liturgy of the Hours by Liturgical Seasons hopefully will, in some small way, help to encourage the use of this beautiful devotion on a daily basis. Pentecost is provided with one devotion that is recited on the Day of the Feast and on any day you might want to offer prayers to the Holy Spirit. Elements of the Liturgy of the Hours - PENTECOST
