Jesus,
have mercy on me, O God of compassion, forgive the many offenses I have committed in Thy
sight, many
have been follies of my life, and great are the miseries I have deserve for my ingratitude.
Jesus, I am weak, have
mercy on me; O Lord, I am unable to help myself, please heal me and
deliver
me from any action that may divert my
eyes from continually looking up to Thee.
Jesus grant
me grace to hate sin and despise worldly vanities for the glory of Thee.

Petition
Jesus,
help me to overcome all temptations to sin and my ghostly enemy, help
me to spend my time in virtuous actions and in labors acceptable to Thee.
Jesus,
help
me to resist and dispel the motions of my flesh to sloth, gluttony, and
impurity,
help
me to render my heart full of virtue and inflamed with desire at Thy
glorious presence.
Jesus,
help
me to deserve and keep a good name by peaceful and pious living in Thy honor, to my own comfort and the benefit of others.

Jesus,
strengthen me in soul and body, to do such works of
virtue and bring me to Thy everlasting joy and happiness, grant
me a firm purpose to change my life and make amends for the years I have
spent in vain or wicked
thoughts, words, deeds, and evil actions.
Jesus, grant me the gifts of the Holy Spirit by frequent reception of the Sacraments, make my heart obedient to Thy will; ready to perform works of mercy, and at last, bring me to Thy heavenly abode.

Jesus, give me grace to place
my trust, joy and happiness in Thee.

give me a fervent desire for heaven, where I shall dwell with Thee and
honor Thy glory.

let me always remember the goodness, gifts, and
kindness bestowed on me and
when I have offended Thee, comfort me with the promise of
grace by penance, cleansing my soul making me worthy of Thy kingdom.

Jesus, grant me resolve not to offend Thee, give me the strength of faith, hope, and charity in all my actions, sustain my patience, help me in my daily trials and tribulations and let me recall all the pain Thy suffered on my behalf.
Jesus, let not the devil tempt me with worldly deceit, give me the fortitude to trust in You, resolving all material goods for the promise of Thy great reward.

be ever between Thy anger and me.

Jesus,
grant me grace to remember my death and the account I
must render; help me at the hour of death so my soul may depart this world in Thy grace.

by the intercession of Thy blessed Mother and the assistance St. Michael, deliver me from the danger of my soul's
enemies and help me at the hour of my death.
Jesus, protect me against the terrors of that day, remember Thy mercy and not my offenses, teach me how to enhance my life by reflection on your death.

Jesus, grant that my soul may be cleansed by the fire of love, let not the anguish of separation and the desire to come to You be weighed down by my sins, grant that I may seek only Thee and upon death, pass at once into everlasting light so with Thy saints I may praise Thee forever and ever.

make me to live among men in Thy image whereby I may gain the pleasure of

the affections of my heart and the wanderings of my mind; defend me
against the attempts of the devil to change my prayers and thoughts of

Jesus, control my thoughts so that I may realize the joy of Your holy face; all good I shall receive from Thee, deliver me from all evil on this earth so that I may love Thee more and more.

The Apostles' Creed
