The Ascension:  

Our Lord ascended into Heaven, in the presence of Mary and His disciples, forty days after His Resurrection.

O glorious mother, Mary, I meditate on the mystery of the ascension. After forty days on earth, your divine son went to the mountain of olives accompanied by the apostles and you, where all adored Him for the last time. Then extending His pierced hands over all of you in a last blessing, He ascended before your eyes into heaven.
