The Assumption: 

Mary was gloriously assumed into Heaven, accompanied by angels, to be united with her Divine Son.

O glorious mother, Mary, I meditate on the mystery of your assumption. At the end of your earthly life you longed to be with your Divine Son in heaven. Because of the great love He bore for you, His mother, whose virginal body was His first tabernacle, Jesus raised you body and soul to heaven to reign over the angels and saints.
