The Nativity:

Mary brought forth our Redeemer Jesus Christ, and laid Him in a manger in a stable at Bethlehem.

Sweet mother, Mary, I meditate on the mystery of the birth of our Lord, when, your time being completed, you brought forth the redeemer of the world in a stable in Bethlehem. Then choirs of angels filled the heavens with their song of praise, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men of good will."
